Taking on the Power of 4 Challenge – AGAIN!
The Power of 4 event takes place from Wednesday 15th to Friday 17th September. The challenge will see team members run and ‘yomp’ four miles every four hours, for 48 hours. The teams will run and ‘yomp’ through the day and into the night to help raise funds for NSPCC’s Childline service, which helps vulnerable young people across the UK.
This year, Childline celebrates 35 years of providing invaluable support to young people. In honour of this, we are aiming to raise £25,000!
Hearing stories from Childline representatives and staff has highlighted this cause’s importance for all of us at Bell & Company. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected young people’s mental health, and many children have been trapped with their abusers. As a result, Childline has been helping more young people than ever before, whilst being unable to fundraise through their traditional channels. This challenge allows us to do our part in supporting Childline in their work and raising vital funds to change the lives of young people across the UK.
One of the newest team members at Bell & Company, Lauren Barton, is part of the yomping team. “Firstly, I’m inspired by the amazing work done by my colleagues in last year’s Power of Four Challenge and the positive impact their contribution has had towards NSPCC NI and especially Childline. I can’t wait to be part of the team myself and do my bit to work towards raising even more vital funds for Childline’s services after seeing all the important work they do.”
Bell & Company have teams competing in the event, but the challenge is open to anyone, teams, or companies. All the information you need is included in Our Power Of Four Page. If you have any questions, please email the NSPCC NI fundraising team at [email protected].
